About Me My
Professional Qualifications:

I have been counseling individuals, couples
and families since 1995. I also have specialized training in
trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence/abuse, and
Christian-centered counseling.

I am currently licensed in the State of Utah
as a Certified Professional Counselor Intern.
-
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in
Psychology from the University of the State of New York
Regent's College.
-
I earned my Master of Science degree from
the University of La Verne in Counseling Psychology.
-
I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from
Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center.

I am the mother of six adult children, five
of whom are boys.

I have 12 grandchildren.
-
I've been married to the same wonderful guy
for over 35 continuous years.
-
I have served in the LDS Church as a Relief
Society President, Primary President, Cub Scout Committee
Chairman and teacher.
-
As a Boy Scout leader, I have served as Wood
Badge Assistant Course Director, District Training Chairman,
District Training Staff, and various positions at the unit
level.
-
I have given over 20 years of Scouting
Service.
-
I have been awarded BSA's Cub Leader
Training Award, District Outstanding Cub Leader Award, On My
Honor adult leader religious award, three Wood Badge Beads,
Cub Scouter Award, Boy Scout Leader Training Award, and the
District Award of Merit, and the Silver Beaver.

I am originally from Utah, but have lived in
South Carolina, Virginia, and Alaska, and Washington. I now
reside in Cedar City, Utah.
-
I enjoy family, psychological theory,
scouting, camping, hiking, physical fitness, cycling,
singing, music, drawing, sewing, cooking, seeking my
genealogy, weight lifting, and of course helping others.
